Pinch Design
Joyce Cabinet
Founded in 2004, Pinch is the collaboration between husband and wife team Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon.
Working from our studio /showroom in London we aim to create graceful and iconic furniture and lighting that work for both elegant domestic spaces and stylish contract environments. With a timeless quality, our pieces are designed and built to last, and we hope work comfortably in a variety of situations, from concrete to country. Our style does not seek to dominate or dictate but we hope instead thoroughly and resonantly engages.
Our approach to design combines a keen appreciation of artistic lines and form, absolute attention to detail and sensitivity to materials. These combined qualities lend our creations integrity and artistic elegance in equal measure.
Our pieces are made by hand and to order, and we have worked hard to locate and employ the best quality makers here in the UK. We believe in using local, making to need, and offering bespoke flexibility wherever possible to ensure our clients commission pieces that really deliver both on function and aesthetic.

Ridder & Clown
Thijs van Agt and Kevin Caboor just graduated from the Design Academy. During their studies they worked together on several design projects and they soon discovered that they challenge and inspire each other. When you were a child, what was your answer if adults asked: What do you want to be when you grow up? On a Sunday afternoon, Kevin and Thijs asked each other the same question again and wondered what they had answered. The conversation afterwards gave them an insight that they became what they already wanted to be: Ridder & Clown.
A creative duo who are different in personality and have their own perspective as a product designer. Nevertheless, together they are sharing the same fantasy world. La Clinica
In the belief that changes are possible with relatively small design actions, in 2010 Ciszak Dalmas launched “La Clinica” a collection of handcrafted furniture produced by local artisans based in three different parts of the world: Madrid (Spain), Turin (Italy) and Sao Paulo (Brazil). La Clinica is based on the interaction between young designers and experienced artisans, which combines new ideas with centuries-old know-how. The result is three different collections made from the same design and produced differently according to the local traditions and material resources.
Each piece is made from solid wood (part of it comes from reused resources) and painted with water-based colors. They are designed to be completely dismountable, lowering the costs of shipping and storage. Our furniture has a much lower CO2 footprint thanks to the efficient use of natural materials and following the rules for a correct use of forest resources, that means using wood which is programmed to be cut and replanted.
Eighteen months of research, design and experimentation have led to a collection that combines simplicity of design and quality of production. Each product of our collection is simple, efficient, natural and unique: a testament to the amazing carpentry skills of the artisans, who give a “soul” to our furniture.
In 2010, Cizsak Dalmas received the first prize of the INJUVE Young Designs Awards for La Clinica and in the last twelve months has been initived to present its collection in International exhibitions in Europe, China and South America. La Clinica has also been featured on a variety of design magazines and websites.
Pieces from La Clinica collection are sold in an ever-growing number of stores in Spain, Italy and Brazil. The evolution of La Clinica will focus on the creation of new designs and on the research of methods to produce more pieces without departing from our philosophy of creating unique pieces through the work of artisans, thus making sure that each product from La Clinica will remain special and unique.
